The world’s best batsman of all time Sir Donald Bradman, scored his maiden first grade century at Petersham Park in 1926 at the age of 18.

It was Bradman’s debut in Sydney grade cricket and the first time the cricketing world saw what he was capable of. In this match ‘The Don’ scored 110 runs at Petersham Park and even had bowling figures of three wickets for 26 runs, as a handy part-time leg-spinner.

PRA Team Drop-in On Surfers Paradise Storm

Following a disappointing result at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, Prodrive Racing (Australia) are ready to tackle the wild and likely wet Surfers Paradise track at the Gold Coast 600. PRA drivers have had sporadic success on the 2.96km street circuit, but the team hopes to put its recently improved car pace to good use in its quest for a fifth – and possibly sixth – race win in Surfers Paradise.

With three events remaining in the 2017 season, there is still plenty to play for in the championship for Cameron Waters, Mark Winterbottom and Chaz Mostert.
